Platform Refund Policy

1. Overview
Yelogig, a subsidiary of The Alta Brand, is committed to ensuring satisfaction for our users. This refund policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds are provided, how to request a refund, and the process involved.
2. Non-Refundable Fees
Creator Package Fees
All fees paid for Creator Packages are non-refundable. Once purchased, the creator package allows creators to participate and earn on Yelogig indefinitely, provided their account remains in good standing.
3. Refundable Fees
Brand Gig Package Fees
Gig package fees paid by brands are refundable under specific conditions. The refundable amount will be the total gig package fee minus the Charge Per Gig (CPG) fee at the time of the refund request. Please note that any service charges paid to our payment processor are non-refundable.
4. Conditions for Refund
Refunds for Brand Gig Packages may be requested under the following conditions:
A. Change of Mind: If you decide to cancel your gig package for any reason, you may request a refund within 24 hours of completing your payment. Requests made after 24 hours may not be considered.
B. No Engagement: If no creator has engaged with your gig by the time it expires, you may request a refund.
Note: Refund requests will not be honored if any part of the gig package has been used.
5. Refund Process
A. Approval & Processing: Refund requests, once approved, will be processed on the same day. The refundable amount will be credited to your Yelogig wallet.
B. Using Refunds: Funds in your Yelogig wallet can be used to purchase new gig packages or withdrawn to your local bank account.
6. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute regarding a refund:
A. Internal Resolution: Users are encouraged to contact our support team at help@yelogig.com. We aim to resolve disputes amicably.
B. Legal Action: If a satisfactory resolution cannot be reached, the dispute will be handled by a court in Lagos, Nigeria. The losing party will be responsible for covering the legal expenses of both parties.
7. Legal Compliance
Yelogig’s refund policy adheres to the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act (FCCPA) of 2018, ensuring that all practices are in line with Nigerian consumer protection laws.
