Want to know how much you could earn as a creator on Yelogig? Enter a random figure as the gig budget and number of engagement generated for the gig.

Note: Estimates are based on the random figures you enter into the estimator below. Your earnings will depend on the ratio of engagement from your gig submission (Your Likes) to the total number of engagements accumulated by all other creators for that specific gig (Total Likes). This ratio is then multiplied by the gig budget minus the CPG (service charge). The current CPG is 10%.

Creator Earning Payout

CPG = Charge Per Gig
This refers to the service charge imposed on all gigs.

Mathematical Expression

Your Earnings  =  (Your Likes⁄Total Likes) × (Gig Budget – CPG)

Where:

  • CPG = 10% × Gig Budget
Example

Given:

  • Gig Budget = ₦100,000
  • Your Likes = 2,000
  • Total Likes = 5,000
  1. Calculate the CPG:
    • CPG  =  (10⁄100) × ₦100,000 = ₦10,000
  2. Subtract the CPG from the Gig Budget:
    • Gig Budget – CPG  =  100,000 – 10,000 = ₦90,000
  3. Calculate the ratio of Your Likes to Total Likes:
    • Ratio  =  2,000 ⁄ 5,000 = 0.4
  4. Calculate Your Earnings:
    • Your Earnings  =  0.4 × 90,000 = ₦36,000

So, in this example, you’d earn ₦36,000 for this gig.

Our current metric for engagement is “Likes.”
This is because users typically “like” a post whenever they’re interested in the message it conveys.

Earnings from approved gigs will be paid out to all participating creators’ wallets within 48 hours after the gig expires.

Upon the expiration of a gig, the engagement from all creators’ submissions will be calculated, and the corresponding payout will be issued to each creator.
